Qualifications: National Diploma in Engineering

Best part of the job: Denel Overberg Test Range is one big laboratory. Testing of weapon systems does not only take place in a “normal” lab like a building; flight tests need to be executed in open space over land as well as sea. Every test series differs therefore electronic development is needed continuously. All of this takes place in a beautiful protected natural environment - it’s like going to work in a nature reserve.
