Jeandre Julies with Abrie van der Walt, CEO of Denel Overberg Test Range. He received a bursary from the Test Range to complete his National Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

Jeandrè Julies, a bright young student who is currently following a National Diploma in Electrical Engineering at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT), has been awarded a bursary by Denel Overberg Test Range to complete his studies this year.

After completing his S1, S2 and S3 at CPUT, Jeandrè spent a year at the Test Range where he gained practical experience in radio-, time-base-, access control- and video-systems.

In August 2014, Jeandrè was selected to be a Master of Ceremony during an event at the Test Range which was attended by various high ranking military officers. Regardless of his age, Jeandrè handled himself excellently.

On completion of his studies and obtaining his National Diploma in Electrical Engineering he will return to work at the Test Range. Jeandrè is very proud to be associated with Denel. He feels it is a dream come true to be able to complete his studies and return to the Test Range.
