Ms Bridget Salo and Mr Andr&Atilde&uml Gomez, from Denel Overberg Test Range, with the Arniston Sea Hawks RFC Committee.

The Arniston Sea Hawks Rugby & Football Club (RFC) plays a very important role in the lives of the Arniston community where there is little by way of cultural, recreational and sporting activities. Most of the team members and their families live off the sea and their income is limited.

During 2014 the Test Range became involved in the Sea Hawks RFC by sponsoring their away games against Grabouw, Villiersdorp, Greyton, etc. Due to this sponsorship they were able to play all their games and were able to compete as one of the teams in the Boland Rugby Union and played for the Area Challenge Overberg League.

On Tuesday, 28 April 2015 Ms Bridget Salo and Mr Andrè Gomez from the Test Range visited the Sea Hawks RFC during a practice session. Each club member received a sport bag sponsored by Denel Overberg Test Range. The names of the club members were embroidered on the bags. They were also informed that during the coming rugby season the Test Range will once again sponsor all their away games.

The Club was every appreciative and thanked the Test Range for keeping alive their hopes for the coming season.
